Overview
Corvo is built on a single principle: your text is yours. The app is designed from the ground up to process everything locally on your device, with no external communication of any kind.
Data Collection
Corvo collects no data. This includes:
- No personal information
- No usage analytics
- No crash reporting sent to external servers
- No advertising identifiers
- No device identifiers
How Summarization Works
All summarization is performed entirely on your iPhone using Apple’s FoundationModels framework (Apple Intelligence). Your text is never sent to any server — Crux’s or anyone else’s. Processing happens locally, in real time, on your device.
Camera & Photo Library
Corvo requests access to your camera and photo library solely to allow you to scan documents and import images for text extraction. This content is processed locally and is never stored, uploaded, or shared.
History
Summaries you choose to save are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to anyone other than you.
Third-Party Services
Corvo uses no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or external APIs. There are no third parties with access to any data.
Children’s Privacy
Corvo does not collect any data from any users, including children. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a future version of Corvo, the updated policy will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
In-App Purchases
Corvo offers an optional premium subscription (monthly or annual). All payments are processed securely by Apple via StoreKit. We never see, store, or have access to your payment information. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple ID settings.
